The Cinnamon Hills
Sometimes you land in a life you were never meant to live. And that is exactly what happened to Karen Hamilton and the men in her life. Backdropped against the early 1970's, the world is changing, and a war no one understands refuses to wind down. Karen is a young wife and mother cocooned in a close-knit family, isolated from the changes around her, and she feels vaguely discontented with her quiet life. But change will come. Mistakes are made, people are hurt. Change is resisted, misunderstood, or even denied. Some changes have been set in motion as the story begins, some are yet to come. Sometimes with humor and occasionally with surprising dignity these young adults will struggle with the pieces of their lives and will finally find the pathways that they should have always been able to follow.
