Regrettable

Spencer Hardesty is back again and in this eighth adventure he and his companions are working to thwart a blackmail plot that's targeting a friend. Politics and money, lawmakers and lawbreakers meet in Austin, Texas where a violent showdown might cost a life. Will it be the life of a child, the life of a friend, or the life of someone who might actually deserve to die? Spencer will use whatever he has at hand to stop it from happening, even if he has to bend the truth to play his part. It might take a hat trick, but he'll do it, even if he has to do it Texas style.
