Elected to Eventual Conversion Corrected (Does Your God Deceive?)

D. I. Sidebottom

(From the back cover)

Volume 4 of this 5-volume study of the "Elected to Eventual Conversion" (ETEC) concept seeks to demonstrate a simple testing of various passages of scripture which use key words connected to this subject.

We start by questioning the questions, then go back in our minds and practice some basic Bible study methods. We look at four key words relating to our study of election: Elect, Choose, Ordain, and Predestinate. Bible students realize the Bible uses these words. The difficulty arises when people begin to discuss what the words in their particular context mean.

We also take time to examine some historic Confession sections as well as key passage interpretations and test them against the Word of God.

Instead of the Bible supporting the concept of ETEC, we present support for ETED (Elected to an Eventual Destination). It is this destination that takes center focus for a couple chapters as we present a basic understanding of the belief, scriptural support, and an illustration of the concept.

This volume contains the end of the main text of the Series and closes with a challenge to the reader based in part upon the lives of a couple of well-know missionaries.

The question is asked:

“What are you going to do with the knowledge you have gained?”
