We are living in desperate times. The economy is bad, companies are collapsing, and many jobs are lost. Many families are living from "hand to mouth," marriages are in crisis, young people are getting into trouble, and our society is sliding down a dangerous slope. Indeed, the conditions of our age are dangerous and desperate. Many are overwhelmed and throwing in the towel of defeat. There is a way, however, to deal with this desperate season.
