You never know what is going to happen next in Emerald. It is now the latter part of 1994. Rachael Meadows now lives in Emerald. Her one year of college has thankfully come to an end. It wasn't pretty. But the future looks bright and promising in this small town. Her boyfriend, Jake Emerald, was the big reason for the move. He and his family gave her a life she never knew. Emerald will offer another person a chance at a new life as well. Steve Jessup needed to "get out of Dodge," and Emerald is where he ended up. And like Rachael, it was really a blessing, something he didn't expect. A lot is going to take place over the next few years. Relationships will be experienced. A wedding will take place. But there will also be tragedy. It is all a part of the Emerald experience. Your life will be enriched as you move along with these people.
