She is a full member of The League Of Canadian Poets; a member of the British Columbia Writers Federation, creator of POETIC JUSTICE a weekly poetry reading series, creator of SLAM CENTRAL a bi-weekly spoken word performance poetry event, and creator of POETRY IN THE PARK a weekly reading series annually in July and August. She is the Author of the surrealistic, poetry book, A SPLIT IN THE WATER consisting of 116 poems which was published by Fiddlehead Poetry Books/University Of New Brunswick Literary Press in 1979 and is currently in many Canadian libraries. She has 5 e-books published, and her latest poetry book INNER HEART A Journey published by Silver Bow Publishing was released in December 2010. It is a 100 page book focusing on the theme of love s intricacies and dimensions. Candice has been a featured guest on CFRO Radio Vancouver 3 times in the past year as featured poet on Wax Poetic Shows and World Poetry Café Shows and has been featured poet at many literary readings in New Westminster and the Greater Vancouver area.
