The Swimmer
With his wife and family away for the week and his business in capable hands Steven Kirkby sets out on an epic adventure, to drink his way home from London. An unexpected ride on the London Eye after the close out meeting for his most successful project sees him contemplating the week of freedom from family ties. With just a couple of sales meetings to attend and trusty Morris holding the fort it's time to live life to the full. The great river snakes away beneath him and he plots the appointments onto an imaginary map as route markers; yes it could work; and if anyone could conquer this mountain it was him. Leaving a trail of destruction behind him, wending his way through the Thames Valley from one escapade to the next, he doesn't notice his life unravelling around him. One by one he loses friends, customers, lovers and family members while having the time of his life riding the drunken Tsunami.
