Razorblades and Mercurochrome
Our family was given a special gift that many/ most never experience.
We had an “extra” member that loved and cared for us in our times of need.
As I am writing this memoir, meant as a gift to my children, I realize just how unique this relationship was and how very lucky we were to experience this little lady that many discarded and disrespected.
I do believe we got as much from our time with her as she got from us.
