Bonded by a Blade

A Novel set in the Southern home front during and immediately following America's Civil War. Caleb Morgan's past caught up with him the day a young stranger stumbled into the sanctuary that had taken 20 years to build. As fate would have it, the youth would need Caleb even more than the guilt-burdened older man needed to be found. The bond they formed with a hunting knife took but a minute to seal yet would drive each man to cross thousands of miles and endure years of wartime's bitter aftermath because of what he owed the other after that chance introduction in October 1863. This is a story of resilience as strong as the blade of that knife.
