EMT Morales #3 Deep Snow

“Please send an ambulance,” the woman pleaded.

"We are in the middle of a blizzard,” the 911 operator replied. “We will get an ambulance to you as soon as we can.”

EMT Morales takes the ambulance down the plowed road to the access road, but it is unplowed. Three feet of snow stops her. The Humvee she calls gets her to the mountain driveway, but can’t go up the incline. Is there anything left in her bag of tricks to get her up the driveway to the injured man?

Deep Snow is book #3 in the EMT Morales series of the “Glad To Do It!” children’s picture books. The “Glad To Do It!” collection tells the adventures of a fire fighter (Uncle Rocky), police officers (Officer Jack, Officer Kate), and an EMT (EMT Morales) as they fight fires, stop crime, rescue people, and help neighbors. The stories are free of bad behavior and the characters are kind, friendly people who enjoy helping others. The books emphasize service to others and devotion to duty and end with the trademark “Glad to do it!” statement that children repeat with the characters.

The “Glad To Do It!” collection thanks and honors the commitment, courage, and bravery of millions of police officers, fire fighters, and EMTs who go to work every day fully prepared to place themselves between their neighbors and danger.
