Man in the Mirror
How does one go about solving a perfect crime? That was the million dollar question, and the one posed to Detectives Alison Lang and Paul McCaffrie as they stood in front of Congresswoman Janine Jackson's home. They needed to find their killer and do it quickly, before the Feds began to swarm in and take over. The only problem was that the crime scene looked like anything but a crime scene. It would be impossible for anyone to do, except Detective Alison Lang. Ali was damned good at what she did, but even she wasn't sure she'd be able to solve this case before her "friends" from the FBI got to town. Not that anyone doubted her ability to solve any case, because she was the best of the best, and made everyone else look like a bunch of rookies. In fact, it was down right scary how good she was sometimes. Still, time was ticking now that the highest profile case in years had just landed in their laps. In this, failure wasn't an option, and no amount of personal drama would keep Ali from doing what she always did. Kicking ass, and taking names. She would have to use every single recourse she had to solve this one because she was quickly understanding that this was no ordinary case. Good thing she was far from ordinary. Game on, bitches!
