He glanced in his rearview mirror and smiled. He’d left his home in Cripple Creek so tired of the violence that had found its way to that small East Texas town. He traveled and seen parts of the U.S. he’d read about. From Seattle and the whales, to Key Largo Florida, and everywhere in between. The one thing he learned was there is absolutely no place anywhere better than his Texas. He’d been driving through Arizona and stopped in a small town and met a beautiful young woman at a bar. He’d ended up staying in Clearwater for two months and spent every day and night with her.
