Strings
It was forty-five years since Ronald Mazur saw his father; now he was traveling to see him for the last time. A road trip for the opportunity to stand over the Old Man's dead body for the closure he needed for all these years, was also a trip to a past he'd sought so long to forget. The nearer Ronald drove to New Jersey, the more he remembered; some for the good, some dormant for a reason. He was determined to show everyone who his father really was, even if it meant desecrating a corpse. Ronald was on a mission to reclaim his fatherless boyhood and face the relatives and Church that left him as his father had left his family. Random memories and new knowledge would tear the fabric of his being and overturn his past. Ronald wasn't riding to his past; he was driving headlong into his future.
