Ours to Ruin

Veronica

Existence was a nightmare. Fate was cruel.

Living like a subhuman and being at the receiving end of the barbarity of mafia dons in their dens of vice, one thing that was ingrained in every cell of my body was to never catch the attention of any of these ruthless men I served.

And yet I did just that.

The irony? I didn't draw the attention of just any ordinary gangster who came to the brothel to unleash their brutality; I caught the eye of the most savage and merciless dons of them all.

What my cruel destiny had brought me were two nightmares eager to mangle me beyond recognition.

Two predatory men that ruled at the apex of the most notorious and lucrative crime syndicate started seeing me as their favorite plaything and were hyper-fixated on their mute prey.

I was about to go on a rampage that day when everyone was ogling my kitten in her skimpy outfit as she kneeled on the stage.

But then I noticed something in Roy's eyes, something I'd never seen before.

He had the same darkness in his eyes that I did as everyone was checking her out that day.

As our gazes met, Roy's expression told me everything I needed to know.

She was ours.

Why did piscín have to cross our paths and disrupt our harmony? At the auction, as she stood there trembling like a scared kitten, my heart skipped a beat.

Just one look at that mute girl with fiery red hair, sparkling emerald eyes, and porcelain white skin, and my malevolent heart was drawn to her untainted innocence.
