Holly's Destiny
Holly Stone is desperate to leave Philadelphia. Her brother, Oscar, is about to lose his business unless he finds an investor. Arron Endicott has some financial interest in Oscar Stone's business, but he wants more. He wants Oscar's sister, Holly. Oscar encourages Holly to accept Arron's offer of marriage. She doesn't like the man nor his mother. She tries to put him off for as long as she can, but Holly knows that she will have to give in eventually. Holly consults her best friend, Eliza, who suggests she become a mail-order-bride. Eliza talks Holly into seeking the aid of a Marriage Broker. She read a letter from a Montana rancher seeking a bride and decides to answer. Clayton Bennett owns a ranch near Sutton Creek, Montana, along with his younger brother, Matthew. A couple of years ago, Clay was left at the church by his intended. He swore of marriages and women in general. Clay's mother, Sarah, and his brother are worried about Clay. Sarah wants grandchildren which means Clay needs to marry. She sends for a mail-order-bride with her younger son's help. Clay is madder than a wet hen when he finds out about his bride until Holly steps off the stage. Clay feels drawn to her. He doesn't court her for very long before asking her to marry him. Holly felt the same connect to Clay as he did to her, so she had to say yes to his proposal. Clay couldn't barely wait a week to make Holly his bride. Is Arron so selfish that he will chase Holly halfway across the country? Does he want a wife of just another possession? Will Arron try to force her to return to Philadelphia with him even if she is married to Clay Bennett? Can Clay keep the woman he come to love safe? will Holly fight Arron with any means necessary to stay with the man she loves?
