The Fever
Violet is an average housekeeper for the Hamilton Family in Savannah, Ga 1876. It's business as usual in the world of the Hamilton family and Violet until one night after an extravagant party. The oldest son of the family, ten year old, Peter, has fallen ill. His parents head to the hospital with poor Peter, who is vomiting a black sludge. When they arrive home without him, Violet and the family nanny decide to investigate where he is and why was there such a fast "death notice". Violet gets more than she bargains for in this thrilling, on the edge of your seat short story.
