Sadie

Warring with a clan of ancient Irish vampires was definitely not in the brochure. Logan and Amber are a creative couple enduring an average life. Both passionate and chasing the thrill of discovery, they take any opportunity they can to wander the forests and hills of the Northeast. And if their trips include a chance to roam around creepy, abandoned houses taking pictures of creepy, abandoned things – well, everybody needs a hobby. At first, a trip to the quaint little town of Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania seems routine. Average. But when they discover a lost, quiet child that seems all alone, Logan and Amber are suddenly thrust into a world that they never could have imagined. Little Sadie is not an ordinary girl. The secrets of her origin go back centuries, and the dangers that follow her have doomed many others. Despite the terrible risk, Logan and Amber cannot help but be drawn to this mysterious child. Before they know it, protecting her becomes their prerogative. But to their new enemies, humanity is less than prey. Sadie’s pursuer is a creature both ancient and terrifying. And with a shadowy international company whose business is nobody’s business in the mix, the powers and goals in play transcend human concerns. Now Logan and Amber must prepare for confrontation and consider what is at stake. Before they lose more than just the deposit at the rental cabin. All things serve the Abhartach. Nothing runs deeper than the blood discovered. No harm shall come to a child, family or otherwise. All else is permitted.
