The Score
"But finally, he's landed in a good place, where he likes the team and the team actually likes him. Even the Condors' current rebuilding mode suits him. There's a new owner. New coach. New players. New rules. But one rule hasn't changed: don't seduce your agent-appointed c*ckblocker. Ian Parker agrees to live with Carter and keep him on the straight and narrow for one simple reason: Alec, the agent in charge of cleaning up Carter's reputation, has promised him something Ian wants very, very badly."--Page [4] of cover

<div>Carter Maxwell has a temper. He hired a new agent to help him clean up his act. His agent sent Ian Parker to stay with him for a few months or maybe even the whole football season if Carter needed it. Ian won’t let Carter down but will Carter let Ian help him too. Is Carter going to let Ian in? I melted the second Carter called Ian “Baby”. That first conversation between Ian and Carter was hysterical. I laughed when Ian’s jaw dropped after Carter finally hit on him for the first time. It’s crazy how 30 minutes after Ian met Carter he knew this was going to be utterly impossible but he was determined to still pull it off. The truce idea was cute but I knew that wasn’t going to work. It’s funny that Ian thought he would get used to Carter’s charm and not give in. I’m so happy Carter is in therapy. I feel terrible that Carter doesn’t feel like anyone cares about him. The ending is beautiful! I’ve never taken so many notes in my life! This book is fantastic. It’s raw and emotional. I’m in awe of Beth. I’m sending my therapy bills to Beth too. </div>
