Alex had often wondered about the father she'd never known and why he'd left them all those years ago. Facing the prospect of a bleak and lonely future watching as her mother succumbs to Alzheimer's Disease she thinks it's too late to find out. But when Alex barely survives an attempt on her life, with only a faded photograph to go on, she finds herself trapped in a deadly race to uncover the truth buried in her mother's long forgotten past before that past returns to finish the job.
