Home Before Dark
When little Penny Hanlon disappeared from her school grounds, her older sister, Marcia, was devastated. She had read about children being kidnapped but this was her own little sister and something very sinister had happened some time during the day. Then she heard the policeman say “I want every available car out on the road so we can get this little girl home before dark.” These words gave her new hope. The police were going to find Penny and bring her home before dark. Sadly, it would be many years before they met again, but Marcia and her mother and family never gave up hope. Would they recognise each other when they came face-to-face again?
