Crescent City Murder

Alec Peche

The undertone of New Orleans suggests evil spirits have a role in a man's death . . .

A young man is found dead on a street in New Orleans. He's an agricultural inspector with the state and has a loving mother and young son. Is this just another case of overindulgence in the French Quarter?

Jill Quint, MD, Forensic Pathologist, and P.I. gets a call from a pathology friend. She’s a pathologist for the City of New Orleans, and has a man on her autopsy table, who the family says died from evil spirits. Her fellow pathologist has been unable to determine the cause of death. How can Jill resist her call to find out what really killed the young man?

Jill's partner, Nathan, has a business meeting in NOLA and joins Jill. It's an investigation that takes Jill from the French Quarter to the Ninth Ward, to the famous cemeteries of the city. Jill and Nathan must work to stay alive in the foreign environment of New Orleans while battling the threat of greedy humans.
