The Impossible Dream: The UNSTOPPABLE JOURNEY of GOD’S WORD BEHIND the IRON CURTAIN and BEYOND

One Bible. One Dream. One God. In 1961, a young couple boarded a ship to Vienna with nothing but faith, a suitcase, and an “impossible dream”—to bring the Word of God into the most spiritually restricted places on earth. What began with handwritten Scripture, smuggled Bibles, and hidden church meetings has become a sweeping movement of Gospel transformation across Eastern Europe and beyond.

The Impossible Dream takes you deep into the heart of that mission, sharing firsthand accounts of courage, smuggling, sacrifice, and the miraculous power of Scripture. Through riveting stories witness how God’s Word made its way past secret police, prison walls, and warzones—straight into the hearts of those who needed it most.

When was the last time you dreamed an impossible dream? It is time to start dreaming again as Christians. Big dreams. God-sized dreams. Bob Burckle and Dirk Smith will help you see and experience how in expecting the unexpected and anticipating miracles, God made impossible dreams come true. If you want to be encouraged, energized and reignited to dream again, welcome to the fellowship of saints who have seen impossible dreams come true. -- CARMEN LABERGE, Host of the daily Christian talk radio show The Reconnect
