Fifty Years Later: The West Charlotte Senior High School Class of 1964

Fifty Years Later: The West Charlotte Senior High School Class of 1964 provides a forum for members of this extraordinary class to share their life narratives. It identifies and lifts up all the many strong, devoted and exceptional stakeholders (parents, principal, faculty, staff, teachers, religious leaders, community and business leaders) who invested time, talent, money, blood, sweat, and tears to ensure that West Charlotte was a successful and excellent school before and during integration. Additionally, this book brings to life several vibrant, God-fearing communities that were the backbone of the caring village that supported West Charlotte with aspiring, eager, respectable families and students in their quest for a better way of life.
