Bloodstream
BLOODSTREAM is a brutal and moving novel about family conflict, bitterness, and misery. It contains violent language, violent behavior and violent sex. It recounts the angry disputes and bitter fighting that haunt the Croce family. BLOODSTREAM focuses on Frankie, the oldest son, who suffers the most abuse at the hands of his father. From childhood through adolescence and into adulthood, Frankie tries to fight off his father's wrath and violence but he is impotent against him. As a result, Frankie turns, in desperation, to drugs, crime, deceit and betrayal. As he slowly comes to realize that there is no escape, he resorts to the only solution that will finally rid him of his overwhelming burdens.
