Zilhouette Murders

A group of detectives are chasing a murderer who has claimed a number of female victims. They are struggling to find a connection between the victims which they hope will help to identify the killer. The victims are found dismembered and scalped with every drop of blood drained from their body. The killer leaves the victim the home of another victim hair removed and replaced with another victims hair making identity even more difficult. There is a historical case where the murderer presented his victims in a similar way and the detectives discover that murderer has been released following an appeal. Lot's of dead ends and the only clue they have is the killer leaves an empty box of Zilhouette Chocolates at each murder scene with a number crudely written in lipstick.
