Becky
She escaped the cartel-but can she outrun her darkest fears?
Bogotà. Colombia, Summer 1981-Becky Kendall and Michelle Talley thought they had escaped their harrowing past and a deadly confrontation with Jamaican cocaine traffickers. Armed with five million dollars in drug profits, the women take refuge in a luxury condo in Bogotà-a seemingly perfect hideout. But the shadows of their previous lives refuse to fade.
As cartel violence erupts around them, Becky and Michelle plan their return to Sarasota, Florida. Yet their every move is shadowed by Gordon Gecht, a ruthless enforcer determined to recover the money he believes is rightfully his. Joining forces with Pablo Escobar, Colombia's King of Cocaine, Gecht orchestrates a game of cat and mouse that quickly turns deadly.
When investigative journalist and Becky's estranged husband Jack Kendall arrives in Bogotá to investigate what happened to Becky and Michelle, he finds himself caught in a high-stakes battle for survival. Racing against the clock, Jack is desperate to find Gecht while also confronting past demons-all in a city where trust is a rare commodity, and every decision could be his last.
The gripping sequel to Mountain Crossing, Becky is a heart-pounding tale of betrayal, resilience, and the unrelenting fight for justice.
