Where the Leaves Fall
The leaves are falling but some things refuse to let go.
After a transformative summer away at New Hope Bible Camp, the time has come for Lena Harris to return home to Freeport. Determined to cling to her faith and summer memories, Lena begins her senior year only to learn the hard way that the past isn't ready to let go just yet. When the whispers at school turn into persistent bullying, Lena struggles with growing doubts that threaten her faith. Trying her best to stay strong, Lena relies on her long-distance boyfriend, Carter and the return of old friends for support. Desperate to escape the pain following her everywhere, Lena learns about an opportunity to return to New Hope Bible Camp to renew her wavering faith. But Lena soon realizes that camp isn't the place she remembers. As the leaves begin to change, friendships are tested and unknown family secrets are unearthed. Facing an unknown future, Lena must decide if she can truly stand firm in her faith and find the courage to finally let go of the past that once defined her.
