What if the government targeted your community using the state courts as a laboratory to conduct an experiment known to increase violence?

Answers to that question are explored through this political satire that takes us into a dream that escorts us on a journey that uncovers the truth behind an insidious plot to exploit the suffering of victims of domestic violence to gain power and money. Based upon actual data and legislation associated with the 1994 Crime Bill, the story involves a public trial of an experiment called the Judicial Oversight Demonstration Initiative funded by the federal government and conducted in state courts.

In a unique twist, the people put the United States Court system on public trial as the Prosecutor, The Defense, and The Judge call upon expert witnesses consisting of historical figures to present actual data to debunk the unethical hypothesis used to justify the experiment and reveal the devastating effects of a history of destructive policies. This public trial occurs on top of a plot presented in a Tarantino Pulp Fiction fashion, depicting lust, manipulation, deception, love, and a quest for justice.

As we are today faced with a deadly and stubborn pandemic, many people refuse to trust the government’s response. JODI helps us understand the basis of this mistrust.
