After a dramatic twist of fate 2 young strangers Rob( a lonely teenaged gym worker) and Katazyna (a migrant worker hitch hiking her way home for Christmas) find themselves cuddling to each others naked bodies for warmth, while sheltering from a blizzard under a haystack miles from civilization, after getting in a minor After falling asleep Rob wakes up in Norwich airport having agreed to collect Katazyna from her return flight, but neither has any recollection of how they survived their night in the Hay stack. As their new friendship blossoms into a loving romance and happy marriage and life passes by in flash, both continue to have shared dreams about the about their night in the haystack. Leaving questions need to answered, why are they still dreaming of the haystack? Why does Kat always have a heavy cold? why does time go by so fast? and how did they escape the snow storm with no clothes on? PrologueIt's every single 19 year old's fantasy that at some point on a boring cold winters day, that fate may twist their way and they will be called upon to save a damsel in distress and finish the night embraced in her naked body. But that's just fantasy these things just didn't really happen and certainly not to me,or so I thought. The lady (Who's name was Katazyna,) and I were both naked tightly cuddled up together in the darkness sheltering from a heavy snow storm. We were squashed into a small gap between the layers of cubed hay bales where 2 people could just about squeeze. I couldn't see her in the darkness, but our shivering bodies were so close together that our chins were resting on each others shoulders and I could feel her heart beating against my chest. She kept apologising for the smell of stale tobacco on her breath and that she kept coughing and sneezing. I just rubbed her on the back and told her it was OK as long as it meant she was alive (I was however grateful that she used a hanky)If we were both going to succumb to hypothermia it seemed she was more likely to slip away first and I wasn't going to let that happen so I tried to keep her talking. However I was starting to doubt myself over what was really going on I was so cold and so tired that I seemed to be drifting in and out of reality myself. I was no longer sure if I was really there in that haystack with that terrified, shivering, lovely young woman, or if I was there alone and she was a figment of my imagination. What if she was just made up in my head or a ghost maybe of a lost soul or maybe the whole thing was just a twisted teen aged dream. So now you're wondering how 2 people who had never laid eyes on each other until that evening could end up in such a twisted situation naked in the middle of a haystack in a dark cold field. This book has previously been listed as The Broccoli the stilton and the Haystack.
