Ran: Perfect Storm
Commissioned by the virtuoso violist Melia Watras, Perfect Storm is the perfect showcase for the accomplished performer. The work demands focus, control, and mastery of the instrument, but rewards us with a perfect gem from Pulitzer prize winner Shulamit Ran. We are pleased to see that the world premiere by Watras is available on YouTube, along with an introduction by the composer. For advanced performers. Dur.: 10'30" Performing Ensemble: Viola Unaccompanied
