After a life-threatening altercation on the monorail on his way to work, the trajectory of Tone's life changes forever. Roped into a unique conflict against an unknown force, he and the group he's been tied to struggle to find purpose as they prepare to risk everything to stop something they have no understanding of, and must piece things together as they go. Can he learn to trust the people he's working with and find answers across the desert at the royal palace far from the comfort of his home, and will he be able to overcome his fear, anxiety, and face the danger that lies ahead?
