The Sudans: Africa's Search for Peace, Democracy, and Two Viable States
"This book documents the work of the African Union High Level Implementation Panel for Sudan (AUHIP) in building and keeping the peace between Sudan and South Sudan. Established in 2009 under the leadership of Thabo Mbeki, South Africa's second president, the AUHIP was mandated with overseeing the execution of the 2005 Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA), the signing of which marked the end of two decades of civil war"-- Provided by publisher.
