Worlds Without End
When Howard Mills is banished to a barren planet, he must struggle to survive in not only an unfamiliar world but an alien dimension. As a former agent of Mir Interamna, an interdimensional police force, he could warp between parallel universes at will, but his pink slip revoked this privilege, leaving him helplessly stranded. Suddenly on his own, Howard needs to make allies fast and persevere through unexpected tragedies. He may be a cyborg, but his conscience still gnaws at him as much ever, and his journey of coming to terms with his guilt and regret is almost as long and arduous as his physical travels. Only when a mysterious entity offers him a chance to restore his ability to shift into alternate realities does Howard begin to realize he is not alone in his exile. But his missing counterpart has gone down a darker path, rejecting the notion of free will. Will Howard succumb to despair over the inevitable, or can he sustain hope in the face of a hopeless multiverse?
