Chase - Even the Blackest Heart ... Still Beats!

He was rejected by an aristocratic father at birth. His early years were spent fighting injustice in one state facility after another. With the necessary emotional fortitude of someone determined to be at the top of his game, Gary Chase evolved from being a questioning but distrustful child into a tough, resilient and highly intelligent member of Her Majesties armed forces. 'So, where's the story here?' you may ask. Gary Chase was the keeper of many secrets. The high security bunker facility at Irton Moor was the place where most of them came to life. Was he simply a much respected military man following orders, or a civilian with a complex connection to Britain's cloak-and-dagger intelligence services? When a batch of prototype military grade microchips, supplied by US component experimenters Inter-Tech go missing, Gary is packed off to California with orders to find them. The hard-nosed, short tempered and cavalier Major McAllister is to go with him ... and that's when the problems really begin!
