The Vet's Apprentice
If Princess Leia had wanted to become an animal doctor and Darth Wader intended to destroy the planet's livestock, wouldn't Obi-Wan Kenobi be a vet? When seventeen-year-old Luna Auer loses her scholarship, through no fault of her own, she goes on a work-study program to a remote planet. Once there, she uncovers a plot by the corporation she works for to eliminate the planet's unique hybrid animals. Can Luna, with the help of an eccentric motorcycle-riding veterinarian and his sidekick, Reuben, a dog with chameleon traits, be able to stop it?
