On the Way to the Wedding
Grace is governess to an Anglo-German family. In 1929 her employer leaves her German husband in Berlin, uprooting the family to a Northamptonshire village. As Grace gets to understand village life, she also comes to experience her sexual awakening as a new war is cast over their rural existence.
