YELLO is a memoir that follows me through my “drinking days.” A story that explores the theme of alcoholism at an early age and the role played by cultural normalcy. The effect alcohol has had on my relationship with my parents,friends and the people around me. From being an insecure kid from The Bahamas, to a college student and part time criminal. What started as pleasure, quickly became my greatest pain. Through an unconventional journey to self-discovery, that pain was turned into power.
