Las Crueles: The Cruel Ones
Are all humans natural born killers? Or is there just something worng with a few of us? "Las Crueles" takes a look at three people who are accomplished serial killers, and have a gnawing need to continue to find and kill other human beings. Johnny, Gina, and an unnamed rampant killer find themselves drawn to each other in this suspense-filled thriller that takes a deep plunge into the psyche of three very distinct, different viewpoints on the value of human life.Gina is a misfit who lacks empathy, not quite a sociopath, but definitely not a person who loves puppies. Gina grows up with a disconnect between herself and other people, and when the only people who understand her leave her, she has to find a way to satisfy the deep hunger inside of herself. A hunger that is only satisfied by killing those she deems unfit to live.Johnny is a cop, a good one who the police turn to when they have a problem. Johnny makes problems disappear, permanently. He's a good husband, father, and family man who is also a skilled and proficient hunter. Once Johnny sets his sights on a person, that person is as good as dead. But Johnny has a conflict with his conscience, and is drawn deeper and deeper into a dark side of himself that he can no longer tolerate. These two find in each other the understanding they have never had from other people. And because they have found each other, some unknown cosmic force attracts a third killer, a raving maniac who doesn't kill people because he likes killing; he kills them simply because he can. This deranged character is merely looking for challenges, and finds the ultimate challenge in stalking the two best killers in North America; Gina and Johnny. In the end, can any of them survive this deadly encounter? And what of the shadowy character named Nathaniel, who only reveals his dark purpose after all three clash in an empty warehouse in a contest to determine who really is the best killer. Are these three, with all their skills and deadly mentality, just puppets for something larger and more sinister? Find out. Take a walk with "The Cruel Ones".
