The Dragon Queen
Dixon and Ankara are leading an attempt to defeat the Imperator and they have dealt their foe a major blow in the Austerian War. The Imperator has lost a large part of his military and his field general. He is reeling from that defeat and a health scare. He is desperate, but he is not without other resources. The Imperator launches a last ditch effort to revive his attempt to conquer Austeria. Is it enough? Ankara is the leader of the Protectors and she is leaning heavily on her faith as she takes the team into the mysterious northern nations of Austeria. She is trying to build an alliance with the nation of Vithur before an attack on Rojo. Her abilities and faith are growing stronger and she is beginning to believe that an ancient prophecy is about her. But is the prophecy really God's path for her? Or does she really want the power of the throne? Dixon has stepped back from leading the team and he is focused on the goal of eliminating the Imperator and protecting Ankara. He fears that he will have to sacrifice himself to save her and he is willing. But can he overcome even greater monsters on this leg of their journey? The rest of the Protectors have joined their cause and put aside their personal agendas. The team now travels through the countries of Udina, Vithur, and Tyrian as they define their faith. Meanwhile, the Nereus and other leaders see the potential to grab more power as the Imperator wilts on the throne of Rojo, but something else is trying to manipulate all of them to gain that position. The Dragon has returned... And she wants her throne back. How can Dixon and Ankara hope to defeat the most powerful person in Austeria? Will the other leaders allow her to take the throne? What about the prophecy? Find out the answers to all of those questions in the exciting conclusion to the Protectors of Austeria series, The Dragon Queen.
