Adventure Is Out There! A Twisted Tale

In this reimagining inspired by Disney/Pixar's Up, sixteen-year-old Ellie McGill dreams of leaving her small town to explore the world beyond it, especially the distant landmark known as Paradise Falls. While working as an intern at a local zoo, Ellie becomes involved in the care of an unusual bird connected to the explorer Charles Muntz. When an unexpected rescue mission arises, Ellie must decide whether to follow instructions or pursue the adventure she has always wanted. Along the way, she navigates changing feelings toward her longtime friend Carl and questions about responsibility, ambition, and courage.
