You Need to Know

Richard Allen

Home is where your story begins. This book is about a good family and a bad family. As you read, ask yourself: “Will I leave this world for better or for worse for the next generation?” You can make a difference! There is nothing that love cannot face. As you read this book, please remember it is not about the Wild West, Cowboys, or the Civil War. It is about a family living in the mid 1800’s faced with many struggles, tragedies, and situations similar to those you may be facing in your life today. I hope the Wilson Family inspires you to seek divine guidance as you face your own situations, trials and tribulations. The setting is in the 1860’s in the territory known as Missouri on a six thousand acre cattle ranch with over a thousand head of cattle. The ranch has been in the Wilson family for three generations. Jim Wilson is the current owner. He and his wife have three children. Sarah is eight years old, Isaac is nine and Jacob is ten. They also have an Australian Shepherd that Sarah named Tripod because he always raised his right front leg when standing still. We all have a ‘Need to Know’... about how to better live our lives in a manner that we remain true to our beliefs and convictions always.
