"Meet Finn Walsh of the US Coast Guard's TEAM RECON. As in reconstructed. As in broken and needs fixing. The Canadian Coast Guard found an abandoned ship floating off the coast of Nova Scotia in international waters, and Team RECON is summoned by Homeland Security to investigate. Before they even board the vessel, Finn Walsh has a horrible feeling about this assignment. His worries are confirmed when they board the empty US Navy vessel and find all the navigation equipment disabled and all electronics smashed or gone. But when Finn finds a hidden stash of dead bodies, he can't get off the ship fast enough. Especially when it starts to sink. Ex-CIA Victory Stanhope, or Tory for short, now works for Homeland Security, which is how she likes it. Investigation behind a desk. She had enough of field work. But then when her boss "requests" that she manage Team RECON and an assignment in the North Atlantic, she is scrambled immediately via helicopter and a terrible storm to the Coast Guard cutter. Finn and Tory meet on the boat, but it's not the first time. They had an unforgettable one-night stand a year ago. As much as Finn had wanted to find her again, Tory wanted to remain anonymous, but it's obvious to Tory that her attraction to Finn is still intense. It also becomes clear why she was assigned to this incident. It's part of the most sinister plot of treason against the United States since Watergate" -- Page [4] of cover.
