Wilful Missing
It is Devon in 1901. A new railway is being built across the valley. The locals fear it will ruin their village for ever. A young man returns to his village after an absence of several years. He comes to the aid of a local farmer when an there is a rockfall which kills some of his cattle. The young man quickly gains the confidence of the farmer but soon begins an affair with the farmer's young wife. When the couple elope the farmer hires a detective to find them. He develops an obsessional revenge to find and destroy them which leads to death .
