When a pumpkin farmer accidentally hits a power pole with his tractor, the power goes out to the entire farm. Customers can't buy hot cider or even purchase their pumpkins. When the linemen arrive, no one seems to know why the power is out - all they know is the farmer went to get the hay wagon to start giving rides but didn't come back.
Power is Out at the Pumpkin Patch is a story about a farm and how linemen get them back up and running so everyone in the town can enjoy the pumpkin patch. The farmer gives them pumpkins and they carve them with their families. They all return to the farm to enjoy the farm and take a ride on the hay wagon.
