As Tess is sucked into her story and back in time, she finds herself in the midst of the Salem Witch Trials-one of the darkest periods in America's history. There, in a strange world where fiction is merged with the past, she befriends Faith, a Puritan girl who just happens to be a character Tess created for her story. But trouble is brewing in Salem, and more witches are being discovered every day.
