A Fall of Ashes

One day, Ashes would be the most powerful evil sorceress to exist, but she didn't start out that way. She began as just your normal selfish, ignorant, pretty, 15-year-old farm girl looking for a husband when things go horribly wrong. But despite betrayal, rape and slavery, she refused to walk the Dark Path. Even with her freedom, people wanted to use her, some for her body, others for her magic, forcing her to flee from place to place until she learned to stand on her own feet. This is how it all starts.
