The Exiled Queen Awakens: A Snow White Fairy Tale Retelling (Spring of Beimeni)

Her death broke my heart, but her betrayal crushed my soul…

Feared as the greatest warrior alive, I have never lost a battle, save the one that robbed the kingdom of Shroudhaven of their princess, and me of my one and only love. The queen who replaced her has turned against my brother and his unborn child, who is destined to end the queen’s rule and the curse of eternal winter. I lost the woman I loved. I won’t lose my brother, too. Only everything I thought I knew about the two people I loved most was shattered when I found Whitney alive and hiding from her duty… and from me.

Walking away from him was harder than walking away from my crown…

Everyone believes I’m dead. I’ve found peace in the home of seven miners, but for the gallant warrior who visits my dreams. It’s for the best, for everyone. If they knew what suffering I’d caused, they wouldn’t hail me as their queen. At least I thought so until Adam found me and challenged me to reclaim my birthright. I had learned to live without his love, but I can’t endure the lack of faith in his eyes. His presence reminds me of the queen I was destined to become… and the love that could never be.

Old wrongs must be set aside if we are to reclaim the lands for the side of good. Our chance lies in the alliance of a neighboring kingdom with the true queen of Shroudhaven, the woman whose resurrection has rekindled hope among her people’s hearts, and love in her long-ago champion.
