The Dark Mother: A Spicy Sci-Fi Romance Novel

Five-hundred years in the future, Commander Evenara Nero is stranded, alone, and running away from a carnivorous plant that just attempted to swallow her whole.

Her ship has just crash-landed onto a lush, primeval-forest planet—a planet the people of Earth are dying to learn about. There's only one problem—every single soul on the ship has gone missing.

She sets off on an adventure of survival on this treacherous planet with the goal of reuniting with her crew and Hilo—the charming botanist among them who's captured her heart.

Little does she know, the planet houses native mystical inhabitants who embody the forest around them—quite literally—wooden hands of branches, magenta hair of flower petals, skin of leaves.

After being captured by them, one member in particular has caught her eye—a tall, dark complected, green eyed man who looks more human than the rest of them.

Intimacy blossoms between her and the green-eyed man as he shows her their deep roots to the magical land. However, the mystical inhabitants have been holding a secret she would do just about anything to know—the location of her crew, which they will tell her only if she agrees to conceive a child for their dying population—a hard pill for a respected, hard-ass ship Commander to follow.

On this new jungle-planet, Evenara finds herself examining her relationships, her choices, and herself—and wondering if when she meets her crew again, she too will have evolved into someone completely different.

THE DARK MOTHER is the first book in a new epic series of sci-fantasy and sizzling romance where the science of the natural world clashes with the art of love—all in an unforgiving forest that has evolved to defend itself.

*Please note: This book is the first in a series and ends on a partial cliff hanger. It contains elements of violence, sex, rape, and cruel language.
