After a year away at college, McCall Landry is second-guessing her life plan. Everyone around her seems to have found their “thing”. Meanwhile, she’s headed back to her hometown of Evergreen, Georgia to regroup for the summer. Then again, her hometown summer isn’t going as planned. The life she used to so perfectly fit into has shifted after a year away. Since her MeeMaw has overtaken her childhood bedroom, this leads McCall to sleep on the couch & offer to fix up her MeeMaw’s old house. Enter Holden Hayes, McCall’s (secret) ex-boyfriend, childhood best friend, & the newfound contractor. Three months spent at home leads McCall to the family time she desperately missed, the boy she loved for as long as she can remember, & a lot more uncertainty than she planned for.
