Cover Me, God
This book is intended for adults (some of the characters relive and/or discuss past trauma and abuse). June has grown up in foster care and she is turning 18 years old. The meaningful relationships that she has with others are helping her learn to let go of her struggle about her identity. She is also learning about connection with others and what it takes to heal the gouges in her attachment processes that are a result of the trauma in her life. June's search for meaning is the same as everybody's as she wonders, "Am I lovable?" As all of her experiences have made her the wonderful person that she is, she realizes that she is not defined by rejection and confusion, but that God's love is there for everybody who wants it, and that identity is defined by Christ, who is love and peace.
